The Abstract works draw intuitive expressive gesture from nature, responding with the senses, music and dance. Created using hands, brushes, feathers and whatever is needed, building layers within a moment. Not dissimilar to trying to paint a seascape with the weather and tide continually changing; it creates a certain pace and energy, that later can be worked into if so desired. Certainly, the addition to reflect and develop with more layers and thought brings out the painting aspect to a more resolved visual experience.
